Scan Card
Scanning a card is a quick and efficient way to process payments using ChargeStripe. This feature allows you to capture your customer's card details with ease. Follow these simple steps to scan a card:
Steps to Scan a Card:
After selecting the amount and selecting the option Card Entry, press Charge.
Select Card Entry on the Payments Methods section. Press the option Scan Card.
Select Scan Card. Hold the card in front of your device's camera, and it will be scanned automatically.
- That 's it! The card details will be entered, and you're ready to complete the transaction.
Manual Entry
Manually entering a card is a straightforward way to process payments when scanning isn't an option. ChargeStripe makes it easy to input card details securely and efficiently. Follow these steps to complete a manual card entry:

After selecting the amount and pressing Charge, tap the option Card Entry.
Enter the card details manually, including the card number, expiration date, and CVV.

Card Reader

Ensure your card reader is paired and ready to accept payments.
Enter the payment amount in the ChargeStripe app, select Card Reader and tap Charge.
Once connected, the payment amount will display on the card reader.
Hand the card reader to your customer or guide them to insert, tap, or swipe their card as needed.

Payment Link

After entering the payment amount in the ChargeStripe app, select Payment Link and tap Charge.
Add an optional description to provide more context for the payment.

Subscription

Steps to Use Subscriptions:
Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner of the ChargeStripe app and select Subscriptions.
If you don’t already have a plan, create a new one by entering the details, including pricing and frequency and press Save.

Steps to Use Tap to Pay:
Go to the Charge screen, enter the transaction value, and then select the Tap to Pay option to proceed with the payment.
Tap to Pay Choose the business location (if not set already), and proceed with the payment via Tap to Pay.
